Expert Forestry Mulching in Seneca, SC

Argus III Forestry LLC offers forestry mulching in Six Mile, SC, for residential lots, rural acreage, and undeveloped land throughout the area. Our equipment grinds trees, brush, vines, and stumps directly on site. The result is a clean, mulched surface with no burn piles and no debris trucks. That mulch layer stays on the ground, returning nutrients to the soil and slowing erosion on the rolling terrain common across Pickens County. We work on steep slopes and tight parcels where larger dozers cannot operate without tearing up the soil. Whether you need a homesite cleared, a fence line opened, or overgrown pasture reclaimed, we assess the property and get the right machine on it. Forestry mulching also reduces fire risk by removing the dense brush and dry fuel that builds up on wooded lots in this part of South Carolina. Forestry Mulching FAQ

Common questions about forestry mulching in Seneca, SC.

Yes, we work on steep and heavily wooded properties throughout Six Mile and Pickens County. Our equipment is built for sloped terrain and dense vegetation that larger machines cannot safely access.

Forestry mulching leaves a layer of shredded mulch spread evenly across the cleared area. That material breaks down over time, adds nutrients back to the soil, and helps hold the ground against erosion.

Forestry mulching keeps your topsoil and root systems in place, while bulldozing strips and displaces them. Properties in Six Mile that are mulched recover faster and hold up better on sloped ground.

We clear residential lots, rural acreage, fence lines, overgrown pastures, and undeveloped parcels in Six Mile and the surrounding Pickens County area. No job is limited to a single property type.

No debris hauling is needed after forestry mulching. Everything is ground and spread on site, so there are no piles to remove and no burn permits to arrange.

Call Argus III Forestry LLC directly to schedule a site visit for your Six Mile property. We assess the acreage, vegetation density, and terrain before providing a quote.

Argus and his team are fantastic. They have extensive experience to handle difficult jobs, a friendly crew that listens, top quality equipment, concern for your home/property, and are fully insured. Argus, the owner, is also a strong communicator and detail oriented, so you always know what is going on. I heartily recommend Argus Forestry for excellent and safe tree removal. First 2 Pics are a before and after of the front of our home. 3rd pic shows the spider, amazing equipment. 4th pic is the final stage of removing a massive 120 ft tall pine that hovered over our house. They used a zip line to remove huge branches safely. And they chip up to 15” logs.

Highly recommend. Aside from having a few less trees I would not know Argus and team had worked all day at my property. I specifically requested that some large trees we intended to leave in the woods be made into something creative and fun. Attaching a photo of a privacy wall the team built with the cut trees. I love it! Well done!

Our 8 year old cat was stuck in a tree. Not his first rodeo with trees but he went too high and couldn’t get back down. We tried everything. Our biggest ladder is 18 feet. He had to have been at least 40 feet up. We tried cat treats, wet food. Spspsps. Argus Forestry came out to help us. He rescued our cat. Our cat doesn’t like strangers but he went willingly when he saw help had arrived. We are so thankful.

Argus Forestry came highly recommended by our contractor. They were a very professional crew cut down 5 huge oak trees and did some major trimming around our home. Argus and his team came with state of the art equipment including a 150 foot scissors lift and huge chipper. They removed all debris and cleaned up completely. Our neighbor commented saying like no other. The crew was totally professional and We would recommend them for any project large or small.

Argus and his crew are very efficient and professional. We have now used his services multiple times while preparing a 1.5 acre parcel. They do an amazing job, they are trustworthy, reliable and we would highly recommend them to others in need of tree services, removing, stump grinding, limbing and mulching.
