Expert Site Preparation in Seneca, SC

Site preparation in Six Mile, SC starts with getting your land build-ready from the ground up. At Argus III Forestry LLC, we handle every step before construction begins. That means clearing trees and brush, grubbing out stumps and roots, rough grading the surface, and cutting a stable building pad. Six Mile sits in Pickens County at roughly 1,000 feet of elevation, with rolling Piedmont terrain and clay-heavy soils that require careful grading to manage water runoff. Heavy spring rains in March can shift loose soil fast, so proper slope work and drainage prep matter from day one. We work on home sites, shop pads, driveways, and rural acreage. Whether your lot is wooded, overgrown, or uneven, we bring the right equipment to move dirt and set a solid foundation for whatever comes next. Call Argus III Forestry LLC to get your Six Mile property ready to build.

Argus and his team are fantastic. They have extensive experience to handle difficult jobs, a friendly crew that listens, top quality equipment, concern for your home/property, and are fully insured. Argus, the owner, is also a strong communicator and detail oriented, so you always know what is going on. I heartily recommend Argus Forestry for excellent and safe tree removal. First 2 Pics are a before and after of the front of our home. 3rd pic shows the spider, amazing equipment. 4th pic is the final stage of removing a massive 120 ft tall pine that hovered over our house. They used a zip line to remove huge branches safely. And they chip up to 15” logs.

Highly recommend. Aside from having a few less trees I would not know Argus and team had worked all day at my property. I specifically requested that some large trees we intended to leave in the woods be made into something creative and fun. Attaching a photo of a privacy wall the team built with the cut trees. I love it! Well done!

Our 8 year old cat was stuck in a tree. Not his first rodeo with trees but he went too high and couldn’t get back down. We tried everything. Our biggest ladder is 18 feet. He had to have been at least 40 feet up. We tried cat treats, wet food. Spspsps. Argus Forestry came out to help us. He rescued our cat. Our cat doesn’t like strangers but he went willingly when he saw help had arrived. We are so thankful.

Argus Forestry came highly recommended by our contractor. They were a very professional crew cut down 5 huge oak trees and did some major trimming around our home. Argus and his team came with state of the art equipment including a 150 foot scissors lift and huge chipper. They removed all debris and cleaned up completely. Our neighbor commented saying like no other. The crew was totally professional and We would recommend them for any project large or small.

Argus and his crew are very efficient and professional. We have now used his services multiple times while preparing a 1.5 acre parcel. They do an amazing job, they are trustworthy, reliable and we would highly recommend them to others in need of tree services, removing, stump grinding, limbing and mulching.
