Before Argus III Forestry LLC ever touched a tree in Upstate South Carolina, our owner spent more than 20 years working in the oilfield industry across the globe. That career meant climbing oil rig derricks, rigging heavy loads with cranes, and operating in high-stakes environments where safety was never optional. Every job, every lift, every climb demanded precision and accountability.

In 2017, he made the decision to come home to the Upstate and put those hard-earned skills to work for his own community. What started as a return home became something more meaningful: a local tree service built on the same discipline and attention to detail that kept crews safe on rigs around the world. Argus III Forestry LLC was founded on the belief that quality work and safe practices go hand in hand, every single time.

That oilfield background gives us a real edge in tree work. Crane operations, rigging, working at height, reading a job site before the first cut, these are not skills most tree crews bring to the table. We apply that same methodical approach to every project, whether we are removing a hazardous tree close to a home or clearing a full lot for new construction.

We offer a full range of tree and land services across Oconee and Anderson counties: tree removal, tree trimming, stump grinding, forestry mulching, lot clearing, site prep, grading, right of way clearing, crane work, debris cleanup, and storm work. When severe weather hits, we are available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week for emergency tree removal. Regular office hours run Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 6 p.m.

We serve communities throughout the Upstate, including Six Mile, Seneca, Townville, Clemson, Sunset, Pendleton, Fair Play, Westminster, Walhalla, Tamassee, Salem, Mountain Rest, West Union, and Longcreek.
